HISTORY OF THE COTTONTREE YARN COMPANY
The company began trading in 1996, although all personnel had previously been working together since 1980. The total years experience in textiles of the two directors, David Hawthorne and Trevor Brunton amounts to around 50 years.
Since the Cottontree Yarn Co began trading as Yarn Agents and Merchants we have increased the range of Spinners we are working with from Cotton and Cotton blends in to Wools, Acrylics, dyed yarns, industrial and fancy yarns in order to be able to offer the yarns required within an industry that demands increasingly specialised technical and bespoke yarns and as we move into the 21st century we aim to provide more products for an industry that will call for a higher technological input.
COTTONTREE PERSONEL
David Hawthorne - Primarily deals with sales and undertakes the majority of customer visits, also after sales service.
Trevor Brunton - Main area of responsibility is ensuring arrangement of delivery programs, shipping and delivery arrangements and at the same time manages the office.
Sandra Rogers and Diane Hodkinson - Because of their wealth of experience are able to deal with the majority of queries that occur on a daily basis and in most cases will be able to deal with any day-to-day issues customers may have.
